How does Denmark become the Talentville of Tomorrow?

Supporting People recently attended an inspiring seminar organized by International Community and Erhverv Aarhus on the subject of attracting and retaining international talent.

With insightful and inspiring talks, a panel debate and workshop, the 250 attendees were given valuable input in to how to address the challenges that arise for expatriates in Denmark, and the challenges that companies face when investing in expatriates.

The key message from the seminar seemed to be that to ensure Denmark’s competitiveness in the international market it is essential to be prepared for increased global mobility in the future and take concrete measures to ensure wellbeing of the expatriates and their families. For example, measures that ease access to public services, help to establish social networks, and measures to help spouses find a purpose in Denmark, be it employment or otherwise.

International Community has published the following magazine to address the issues. Insight and Influence: Talentville of Tomorrow. We’ve enjoyed reading it, it contains loads of useful and inspiring information.
